suspended the burial of slain Eunice Olawale, previously scheduled for
July 14, indefinitely to enable the police conclude its investigations.
However, in an interview with Vanguard in Abuja, Mr. Akun Oluwadare, a
brother to the deceased, said the family had concluded arrangements to
properly bury the slain Eunice, this Saturday, July 23.
Oluwadare said the burial day of Eunice Olawale will coincide with her
birthday celebration.
He said: “The Christian wake-keep will come up on Friday, July 22 by 5pm
at RCCG Provincial Headquarters, Phase 3, Kubwa.
“The burial service is fixed for the next day, Saturday 23, which
coincides with her birthday, by 12 noon at the same venue. Interment
follows immediately at Gudu Cemetery, Abuja.”

'Sack Buratai over $1.5m Dubai property,' lawyer pressures Buhari He described the defence of the Nigerian Army that Buratai bought the properties with his personal savings as a “cock and bull story”.
Revered lawyer, Femi Falana, has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to relieve the chief of army staff, lieutenant-general Tukur Buratai over his alleged fraudulent purchase of $1.5million Dubai properties.
Falana stated this in a statement issued on Sunday, July 10.
He described the defence of the Nigerian Army that Buratai bought the properties with his personal savings as a “cock and bull story”.
Falana said it is nearly impossible that the army boss acquired the assets with his own money.
“In
view of the ban on the opening and operation of foreign accounts by
public officers, the Code of Conduct Bureau should be involved in the
investigation," Falana said.
“If the
Chief of Army Staff does not deem it fit to resign forthwith, President
Buhari should not hesitate to remove him in the interest of national
morality.”
